you may qualify for the Home Renovation Savings Program – Assessment Program Stream if you meet the following criteria:

1. Who Can Apply?

Ontario Residents who:

  • Heat their home with Enbridge natural gas or electricity from an eligible provider (excluding Cornwall Electric).
  • Live in a single-family home, townhouse, semi-detached home, or mobile home on a permanent foundation.

🚫 Not Eligible:

  • New homes (must be occupied for at least 6 months).
  • Multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs).

2. What Are the Requirements?

To qualify for rebates, you must:
Complete a Home Energy Audit (Pre-Audit) before starting upgrades.
Install at least two eligible energy-saving upgrades, such as insulation, windows, doors, or a heat pump.
Complete a Post-Audit within 180 days of the Pre-Audit (or by December 31, 2025, whichever comes first).
✔ Submit required documents, including invoices and a property tax bill.

3. How Much Can I Get?

  • Up to $5,000 in rebates for homes heated with Enbridge natural gas.
  • Up to $10,000 in rebates for homes heated with electricity.
  • Up to $600 reimbursement for energy audit costs.

4. Important Notes

🚫 You cannot receive rebates for upgrades already funded by other rebate programs (e.g., Home Efficiency Rebate Plus – HER+).
🚫 If you’ve previously received a rebate under this program, you can apply again, but the total rebate amount cannot exceed the maximum limit.
